Created for the Magicka event called "Laguna".

This was what I had in mind when I was thinking about the event theme. A view from out of an island into the laguna sea. Something a bit like fantasy style.

A huge statue that is rising from out of the sea. When the statue is in the sea, you only see the island above the water.

I uses photoshop, 3d studio max (small render on the vulcano), stockphotos from sxc.hu and my own photos for the sky and clouds.

I hope you like it :D

That tower on the right it's actually from the city I live in :P
It's called "Torre de Belém" (Tower of Bethlehem)

It is, and it's built over water too... though you've put in on the air, over the water =P
Bethlehem translates as Belém in portuguese.

I like the little shape at the top of the head. looks pretty cool. you did a fantastic job of blending the face with the bg. !
